Top Websites for Finding Remote Jobs
Hello, friends! Today I want to chat with you about one of my favorite (and most requested) topics, working remotely. I know that many of you either desperately want to work remotely, or are at least interested in learning more.
Having worked remotely now (in numerous roles) for about 5 years, I can say that it’s a great fit for me. I love the flexibility, not having a commute, and avoiding office politics.
If you’re at all toying with the idea of working remotely, I’d say just go for it. If you currently have a full-time job, try doing a freelance job part-time or just get a part-time remote job and see how you like working from home. It’s certainly not for everyone so it’s always a good idea to test the waters in a low risk way, if possible.

Working Nomads
Working Nomads is another great website for finding remote jobs. Similar to Remote.Co, this one has the most to offer if you have a slightly more technical background. A large bulk of these jobs are in the areas of development, design, system administration, marketing, and management. If you have any experience or education in these areas, then this is a great site for you!
However, if you’re more interested in other areas such as, sales, customer experience, HR, education, you still have choices, just not as many as the technical areas.
Either way, it’s still worth checking out. The website itself is very simple to navigate. The jobs are listed directed on the homepage so you can just start scrolling.
On the left side of the homepage you will see, ‘job categories’ so you can also search this way if you have a specific area of interest.

We Work Remotely
The layout of We Work Remotely is similar to Working Nomads in that the job postings are directly on the homepage. You have the option to search by category and their categories include:
- Business + Management
- Sales + Marketing
- Programming
- DevOps + Sysadmin
- Design
- Customer Support
- Copywriting
- Product
- Finance + Legal
- All Other
There is also a really helpful Resources tab at the top of the homepage which has a listing of the Top 100 Remote Companies, a Remote Companies List, and even a We Work Remotely Slack Group.
There is also a page listed as, Remote Companies Hiring in 2018, which is worth checking out too! In addition to the name of the company they also list the mission of the company as well, which is great. Then, if you click on the company you can learn more about what they do, where they are headquartered, and any current positions they have available. Jobspresso.Co
The tagline for Jobspresso.co is “Expertly curated remote jobs in tech, marketing, customer support, and more.” On the homepage, there are a few places that you can go. First, if you just want to browse jobs, there is a big “browse jobs” button on the middle of the homepage. If you scroll down, you’ll also see, “Featured Remote Jobs” and then beneath that, “Latest Remote Jobs.”
The Job Categories are similar to the ones listed on We Work Remotely, Working Nomads, and Remote.Co. There is also a great FAQ section to learn more about Jobspresso.Co and about remote work in general.
Similar to many of the other sites listed above, you can also sign up for their newsletter to receive weekly updates on new job leads.
